To meet the varying needs of parents, caregivers, and extended family members, The Stepping Stones Early Intervention Program offers parent groups during the day and in the evening:

Tuesday and Thursday’s during the operation of the Stepping Stones Early Intervention Program;

Evening – at least one time monthly called the North Jersey Parent Support Group.

Both Parent Groups are led by a licensed clinical social worker who has over fifteen years of experience in the field of providing support to families who have a family member with Down syndrome.  Topics are generated from parents and can include: estate planning; education law, parent rights, speech therapy; sign language; resources; medical professionals, sensory integration and more.  Parents have the opportunity to develop support with parents who share similar issues.
